Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of Detective Diane Russell. She has also starred in shows like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney is the sole child of an United Auto Workers senior executive and a domestic worker, was raised by her four brothers and sisters. As a child she longed to be a reporter for the court. After graduating from high school and relocating to New York in the 1980s, she began modeling. Delaney was portrayed as a young innocent in 1981's soap-opera All My Children. Delaney is a well-known actress who has been featured in a variety of TV movies, and dramas. Similar to her profession, her personal life hasn't been easy or prosperous. There were two divorces that failed and fought with alcohol addiction. She lost custody of her son in 2005.
